RŪDUS is a Houston-based heavy psych/doomgaze trio built around slow, immersive sound and atmosphere. Started as a few friends wanting to explore the space between doom, shoegaze, psych rock and post-metal, RŪDUS takes inspiration from bands like EARTH, True Widow, OM, Pelican and King Woman, as well as the Texas heavy underground. They aim to create music that feels immersive, meditative, progressive, and HEAVY.
