Thunderbird Divine is a psychedelic doom band from Philly that has been active since 2017. The current lineup, featuring Erik Caplan, Joshua Adam Solomon, and Micheal Stuart, creates a unique sound that blends classic psychedelic rock influences like Hawkwind and Jimi Hendrix with experimental instrumentation and uncommon song structures.
Since their formation, they have achieved high rankings on the Doom Charts for releases such as Magnasonic and The Hand of Man, and have become regulars at festivals like the Maryland Doom Fest. Described by critics as spacey and kaleidoscopic, the band continues to communicate their sincere creative vision through a heavy, kaleidoscopic lens, recently releasing their album Little Wars in 2024.
