The Condom Couture Fashion Show is an annually held fashion show put on by UCLA's Student Wellness Commission (SWC) AIDS Awareness Committee.

The students said the show is inspired by the artist Adriana Bertini's work in repurposing defective or expired condoms into beautiful pieces of art such as a dress made entirely out of condoms.

Condom Couture is an entirely student-run fashion show with student fashion designers and models who work on their pieces for 2 months prior to the big show.

Dresses are made from un-lubricated, colorful condoms that our team at ONE provides for the students. How the condoms are used in the creation of their garment is completely up to the designers, leading to a diverse and beautiful display of creativity that de-stigmatizes the conversation of safer sex in a public—rather than private—sphere of discussion.
